There is no better way to see the wondrous Amazon River than by boat, we offer the Amazon Clipper cruises both in a Traditional and a Premium Cruise.  The Amazon Clipper Traditional is a typical local-style riverboat with 8 cabins, all with private bathrooms and air-conditioning. The Amazon Clipper Premium is a new boat with larger cabins and greater comfort - including a Jacuzzi and a panorama deck. During the cruise there are excursions by motorized canoe and on foot to explore the varied ecosystems, local villages, river islands and beaches.

*Only departs on a Monday

Day 1: Depart Manaus (Monday)

Monday - Meet at the lobby of the Hotel Tropical at 2:00pm. Board the Amazon Clipper and depart towards the Amazon River, while we enjoy a welcome drink and are informed about the routes and facilities. After a snack, we'll meet in the leisure room for lectures about the Amazon, from which we can get a better understanding of the ecology of the Amazon. Before dinner, there will be time to enjoy a caipirinha, Brazil's national drink, while watching the sunset. After dinner, we'll explore the streams and ponds, and with the help of spotlights we'll search for crocodiles and alligators, and sometimes even night-hawks, snakes, sloths and frogs.

Day 2: Lake Janauaca (Tuesday)

We'll wake up at Lake Janauacá and begin a canoe excursion along the waterways and lakes full of amazing aquatic plants, keeping our eyes open for birds and pink dolphins. We'll return for breakfast, and then have a walk in the forest and visit the residents of the lake, who make a living off manioc, fishing, fruit trees, rubber, chestnuts, wood and other extractive products. The piranha fishing in the evening is not just for those who love fishing - it's also possible to see large flocks of beautiful birds such as herons. After dinner we'll explore the forest in our canoes to observe nocturnal animals and admire the millions of stars, sometimes including the "Southern Cross" - the smalles of the modern constellations.

Day 3: January Ecological Park, back to Manaus (Wednesday)

One last excursion of birdwatching and to see the Vitória Regia, the giant water lilies, in the January Ecological Park. We'll explore the mysterious flooded forest by canoe or by trails, observing the nature of the trees and the water. While we have breakfast, the boat will begin its navigation towards the "Meeting of the Waters" - a unique spectacle where the muddy waters of the Amazon and the dark waters of Rio Negro flow side by side without mixing for several miles. Making the trip back, we'll pass by Manaus, observing the floating docks, the market, the old customs house, and the Opera dome, arriving around 11:30 on the Pier of Tropical Hotel. This marks the end of the services.
