Day 1: Arrival Santiago
Arriving into Santiago you will be amazed on the impressive high-rise architecture and modern city life. Santiago is located in the center of the Chile and is a main gateway to many South American attractions. This Capital City of Chile is full of culture, with many Historical Colonial Buildings and has a great character, it is home to over 5million people which means you will find everything you need in this modern day city. Your hotel we have selected for your stay are centrally located and close to some fantastic Chilean cuisine, don’t forget to try out the wine from this region, it is world famous.
Day 2: Santiago half day tour
The best way to get your bearings in any city is to do a half day city tour; we have included a morning city tour of Santiago to get you better acquainted with Chili’s capital. The first stop of this tour included visiting the Bernardo O Higgins Avenue running east west and dividing the city into two main parts; the Providencia District and its commercial center Balmaceda Park, San Cristobal hill and the Metropolitan Park, the Forestal Park. You will also come across the fine art museum, Plaza de Armas, the city’s main square with cathedral and the town hall. We then continue down to the oldest part of the town with beautiful mansions all built in different styles, upon returning to your hotel we show you the exclusive Union Club, the National Library and the central Santa Lucia hill.
Day 3: Depart Santiago
This morning your insight into Santiago concludes, from here when you are just starting your trip then we suggest going down south to see the amazing Patagonia area or perhaps continue west and see the awe inspiring Iguazu falls.
